IDGAF what anybody says; I respect the fact that they keep it in the family. This kid is obviously a self-taught drummer. And as far as the Cavaleras go, they obviously value energy and spirit. Maybe, to them, technique is secondary.

It is great having him in Soulfy, however IMO a band should progress. After Kinkade left, Soulfly should have recruited a same caliber drummer. It's great to have father and son in same band, but for that Max should had created a new project, and leave the legacy of Soulfly untouched. Kinkade was a beast! Zyon, cool, but not (yet) Soulfly caliber (unless Max was deliberately looking to go some steps back in time to the first Soulfly 'Jumpdafuckup' albums).

Zyon is a cool, very young drummer. He earns respect by being easy to work with and a solid pro. His drum kit was drifting forward, so it was interesting to see him casually hauling it back into place at the end of a song. It is sad to see hate coming his way. So, what were you haters accomplishing in your early 20's?

i got tired just watching it... he spends so much unnecessary energy on stuff... but hey, he's young, maybe it's his "style", but i doubt he can keep it for very long. Anyway, i think he does the job quite well for his age.
