My favorite duo. What a pair, amazing singers and super keyboard players and arrangers. My favorite pop song (listen to JP 15th Oct 83 for a different version and just as good) Why was there ever nobody else as good as them in pop?

some of the best synthpop from the 80s...this duo never got nearly the attention they deserved.

Loved this duo. Nice quality independent stuff. Just a keyboard and a voice. How simple. But man oh man look at those 80's do's in the background and those Soccer-mom baggy jeans 'Sophie's' wearing. You know they have a web-site where you can get their stuff, I have to get the stuff with the 'John Peel' session's on it.

Rain is an outstanding track. It was on Youtube some time back but no more. The greatest bands that no one has heard of.

I have had this song on an old John Peel tape for 20 odd years and every time I listened to it I thought it was brilliant. Should have been a number 1. This song never bores you.

This song should have been a massive hit. It is brilliant to see such rare recordings. Over 20 old now - amazing. Sophie and Peter Johnston are truly brilliant. Check out Ebay (my ID is the same) for the link to their website, and the opportunity to buy their new CD (yes, they has a new album) and the Best Of CD. Go on, they are fantastic. Duncan Watson

This sounds like a classic. Wonderful chorus. Actually equally good verse. That's rare.
