Oh how I miss the days when music sounded like this. Have already picked out a couple of their numbers for my memorial service. No, not ready to go yet!

Those blended voices and tight harmonies are 100% satisfying. Great stuff. A++Why doesn't anyone sing like this anymore? Ditch the auto-tune nonsense. Get down to it!

This is one of the most haunting songs ever. Their harmonies are perfect. Thanks for uploading.

Sons Of The Pioneers, "BLUE PRAIRIE". This is a fine Country Western Group from the past and were on many performances in movies and recordings. Nice tune and I agree with all previous (positive) comments.

My aunt gave me this album when I was a child in the 60`s. I listened to it over and over again. It made me want to be a cowboy.

Sunday mornings this album was always spinning on our stereo...back when stereos and TVs were furniture. These days my music tastes are broad and eclectic...and am grateful for my early indoctrination into the classic balladeers and troubadours of the "west"...I grew up on the prairies...that time and place is deep in my sense of being. Now how about Little joe the Wrangler, Strawberry Rone, Oh Bury my not, Lobo?...btw ove the album art of "Cool Water".

I just about crapped my drawers when I saw this listed and couldn't believe it when I heard it. My dad used to play this album - and this song was especially haunting, yet I still remembered every lyric. Thanks muchly for posting this old gem. It's been over 40 years. . .

My momma had this record. It should still be down in the holler. Momma passed away in 2001 with cancer. But I can remember playing this record over and over. I grew up in Giles Co. Va. Went west and punched cows in Arizona for four years. Hardest work I ever did. Most fun working I ever had. Worked on the TT's ranch in Black Canyon City. Made every dollar a horse back. Rode with Clair Dewitt and some of his brothers. Fine cow punchers. Saw a lot of what these guys sing about!
