It's not really a "ballad" is it.I mean, what's there is great, but its really only 2 variations on a short chorus, and a cool instrumental break.I know it was suppose to sound like part of a ballad for the credits, but I really, really wish Joss Whedon and Sonny Rodes had written the whole thing.Joss is a great writer, and a ballad about the war would have been fantastic with this as the chorus.I know there are a few fan made versions out there that try fill the song out, and some aren't bad.But Joss would have done it right.Maybe its not too late to ask him...?

Why in all the world of why would you cancel such a groundbreaking and epic-fucking-tacular show that is Firefly! This is the best show to ever grace the small screen and introduced me to Steampunk and my big crush on Summer Glau! Haha. ;( I typed haha amidst tears of joy mixed in with tears of sadness over the fact that there will be no more episodes let alone a season 2! I have watched this series and accompanying movie Serenity which was a masterpiece time and time and time again ad infinitum!

Gorram Fox... I started to watch this series a few days ago with my wife because of the hype I heard. i admit I do not like too many sci-fi series. Like babylon 5, or star gate. They are too pew-pew for my taste. (for instance I love ST: TOS)But this show... it really got to me. Great characters, funny moments, packed with a reasonable amount of action and drama. Just perfect. And I saw some criticsm, how scifi and western don't mix well... it is bs. This show was the best space series ever made. Period. And I am saying this after 12 years of airing. Just sad.
