Cher was (is?) built like a brick, uhh... ...outhouse! The key to their popularity was that they were more like "mainstream" America than most of the "top 40" acts of the time, obviously in love, and Sonny was a superb marketing/business man. R.I.P., Sonny; I'll see you again soon.

And I've never gotten the allure of Cher's voice either. She sounds more like a man than he does. They were hugely popular too, don't get it

If he were to go on one of these singing shows like the voice or american idol, his audition would be treated as one the joke auditions, pure comic relief. What an uncomfortably terrible singer. No pitch, no voice control, jus horrendous
