The new singer is a bassist that was in a band called big tent revival. Rick was never a original band member. But took off with the name through time. I can not say the ins & outs but Jeff Deyo has a few great albums out now. Sonic Flood is not the same and not close musically. Toby Mac had a lot to do with that. The New Sonic Flood had a album that to me had a few good songs on it but still was not the singer (Jason Ingrim) that is singing now (Rick Heil) either. Its called Resonate.

The entire is album is fantastic, the lead singer Jeff Deyo went on to make his own album which is great too. Sonicflood got a different singer who has a heart for God too.
