this is a very well structured piece played beautifully, this song is amazing to listen to while playing doom 1 or resident evil 2 or 3 or Mario kart. seriously if you want to have a good trip all by yourself get some Xanax, Marijuana, Cherry coke, Cigarettes, Lottery tickets and Hershey chocolate bars. When the Xanax kicks in and you get the munchies eat the chocolate, drink the cherry coke, scratch the lottery tickets while smoking a cigarette and preparing the marijuana then put on this song and play one of those games. Find the perfect balance of volumes for the music and the game and smoke out. that's how you have a good time alone. They have many good songs for playing those games to. Thanks god for marijuana, Music, and women.

Son losSONIC YOUTH.VIDEO: Sonic Youth - The Good And The BadUn saludoIlde

God, they were good! Does anyone else feel the bassline is influenced by Steve Hanley? - they were big Fall fans and this has the kind of groove in something like I Feel Voxish or Neighbourhood of Infinity.

Tanto per farvi capire quanto stanno avanti, quando uscì questo pezzo io non ero ancora nei pensieri dei miei genitori.

you suppose? before sonic youth Thurston and Lee were both playing in Glenn Branca's ensemble. Theyve both admitted to being completely indebted to Glenn Branca for their sound. Not to mention this record originally came out on Neutral (Glenn Branca's label).

I found this in a used record store in high school and was blown away that it was on the same label as Black Flag. That was an awesome convergence for me! Also, I first got into them via Goo, so this was an interesting departure.... If you guys were listening to this in grade school, I think society got something right for a change....

Our generation generally looks to things slightly better than the hit stations. The best case scenario is the whole folk rock movement, but more likely than not it's probably some electro-hipster movement, or some sort of dub step. The future isn't looking absolutely horrible or anything, but I just hope that we can at least take some step in the right direction.

You gotta wonder what drugs they were on, I would guess heavily dosed on some crystal, probably haven't slept in awhile and were afraid to go in the dark because of demons lurking every corner, so they sat by a candle and frantically wrote their songs brought on by their twisted frantic thoughts

Speak for yourself. Our generation didn't "do" anything to music. It was the big labels and our parents. Our job is to make something out of how much pop music today sucks. If you know where to look it becomes clear that our generation is steering good music back on the right track.

Is it just me, or does the jangling guitar towards the beginning of the track sound an awful lot like the "Out from Egypt" instrumental by Sufjan Stevens?
