Ok, I'm not really sure why I've started talking - sorry about that! Just some info I guess. If you guys find it absurd then I'll stop it immidiately! :)

But as I mentioned this song is by far a favourite. Excellent chords and feeling. And really good for acoustic as well.

Tuning: DD#A#D#GG

Ahh good to know, I'm learning it on an electric and I thought the strings would be too loose. So I restrung it fairly uniquely ha! Perhaps an acoustic would be different.. Thank for your reply. Keep up the great sonic covers!

Great cover! I've been really loving your versions. Such a full sound from 1 guitar.. Incinerate was a ripper too.. I was wondering about this tuning. Do you use 2 low e strings etc. looking forward to learning to play this..

Cool! I'll write you as soon as I get some more time - working two jobs these days so I haven't got that much time for practicing! But we'll manage! Cheers Andrew (and I did get your mail!)

I'm in totally agreement here. Love the typical SY-raid for the first 4 minutes or so. Really brings back some memories from Sister or Daydream Nation. The tunings some times even works better on acoustic I think. Without the electrified factor the sound of the chords and structures really step forward - or that's how I feel about it at least.

This has some of my favorite SY "Riffs". Good tuning for the acoustic. I'm surprised at how well some of the Tunings transfer over to the acoustic.

Ok, I'll check it out soonest possible. I think "Winner's Blues" is EBEEG#B but both ways works though. It's such a cool song and a even cooler opener on a cool album :)

Alright, let me know how it worked. Which song are we talking about? Ok, so the tuning I'm currently use is from top to bottom: CGBGAD - I think it rocks. Try it out if you get the time.

I'll have to try out the tuning Lee mentioned. Have you heard the new song?

Awesome. I'm going to write some stuff using "Candle" tuning, then I'll mess around in some of the others. Although I like to think in groupings of songs, so I'll write a bunch in a few tunings, then move onto others. Or just see what fits. Is "Winner's Blues" EBEEG#B or EEBEG#B?

That's not too bad no. Maybe it can be done even cheaper around wintertime or so.
