Beautiful. My sister sang this at our Mammy's funeral. Now my sister is extremely ill, I'm praying it will be sometime before I hear it again in church.

My Catholic aunt died recently and I attended her church and heard this song. I don't know how this is intended to be played but the band performed it with an acoustic guitar and it had the feeling of an old folk song and I really enjoyed it. Their hymnal book is called "Praise and Glory" and can be ordered on Amazon used for less than $6 with shipping included and this song is definitely in it.I am not at all religious, must less Catholic but I ordered the book because they all seemed easily playable on an ocarina I have and the music seemed lovely.

I've served a few Requiem Masses and I am always blessed when our soloist sings this very comforting song. I hope it will be sung at my funeral.

And who supports the IRA/SF and the loony left militants Not the genuine Irish People and that's for sure. They were the ones who murdered Irish People and Trade Unionist's the same ones who don't believe in Free Speech.

Typical Orange fascist reply. You have a very warped view of the world. Orange fascism imposes itself and has no redeeming feature. It is unionism that has allied itself with groups like Combat 18. Look around the world and tell me who supports Loyalism.

Why Oh,Why do Catholics come onto Orange Videos. Have you no comment to make except to call Orange Fascist when it is really Republican Sectarian Fascist Bigots with Extreme Loony Left Militants.

So why are you on this Catholic site you obnoxious orange fascist?

Jungleloyalscouse

Well that's not True, The True Irish People don't want the Republican Sectarian Fascist Bigots and ask yourself why do Catholics come onto Orange sites

22grena

There are only onr group in Ireland that are fascists and they are Orange and their 'culture' is in terminal decline because it cannot exist with equality and democracy. Why is an Orangeman on a Catholic site.

Yes Suicide, and there is a difference between good Irish People that makes them far Superior from IRA Murdering Fascist Scumbags.

They did not commit suicide. They died for their beliefs and for their fellow prisoners. A suicide wants to die because he is in despair. These men wanted to live. Thatcher killed these men.
