It seems like the notes were "close enough" in the eyes of the game.

If intonation was the problem then it wouldn't have registered the chords as being played properly. Not sure what was going on here.

if you look at all the other vids he always gets a 100% but he presents rocksmith. Coincidence?

well hopefully in the 2014 version it will be fixed.

This kind of tuning-job would have been absolutely unacceptable if I were to see a band and they covered this. I really wish that more emphasis would have been made on intonation and other aspects of setup, aside from straight-tuning. When the playable-length of the string doesn't match up with the frets themselves, you're gonna have a bad time.

There is two parts. tuning open strings and chord strings. he needs to redo inotation.

the guitar may be in tune open but if the intonation is out the further you play up the neck its gonna sound out of tune :/

Rocksmith tunes the open strings only, so bad intonation on a guitar can really show up. Also this version has a monotonous thrashing G# octave power chord that should be supporting the power chords on the backing track, not drowning them out, but you can adjust the volume of the guitar in the prefs.. I think the reason they've arranged the combo like this is to keep the alternating 'subdued' then 'thrash' feel of the song without having to change the distortion effect during the song.

I think there's something off about the tone. Seriously.
