Originally, when I first heard Flight, the lyrics were joyful. The song felt like it was about overcoming fear and not being afraid to take a leap. Flying away from the past. Then i heard this rendition, and the song took a dark turn and became depressing. The visuals lent to the idea that people either did not know how to be themselves, or just truly hated who they were. They felt trapped in their own bodies. Then recently, the lyrics became downright suicidal. Imagine jumping from a building as we "shout until our bones break." Taking this heavy Cage of Bones, for Flight. Ladies and Gentleman, this is art.PS the song Flight is the same, lyrically, as this one. However, the music change makes the mood SO VERY DIFFERENT.
