This music is wonderful, Ed! Love the reverb in there !! How did you record it? I'm 55 and have wanted to play a brass instrument since I was 5. 50 years is a long wait, I know. Played jazz on drums and clarinet years ago. I love the mellow sound of the flugelhorn but like the trumpet too (Ed Trujillo, Chris Botti, Herb Alpert, et al). What is your advice for an adult beginner on a brass instrument...trumpet or flugelhorn first? Would I be at a disadvantage renting a flugelhorn and picking it up first? I would love to learn to play some jazz versions of old standards like "Over the Rainbow" and many others.
