Love this scene set to "Somebody Wants to Love You". This was the B-side to "I Think I Love You" and it's every bit as good as that song. Though ITILY definitely had the edge as far as being a killer pop song.

A lot of people don't realize just how famous David Cassidy was during this time. He was stuck in a contract and was legally bound to do this show. Great song by the way.

Love this show. Also, the first record I ever bought! Best 25 cents ever spent.

I found this record in a used record store for $3.00, and I couldn't dig it more! It's really groovy! I even wrote the fan club! I wonder if they'll write me back? Send $2.00 to: 6311 Yucca Street, Hollywood, California 90028, for posters, booklets and surprises! $2.00 was a lot of dough in 1969! GREAT STUFF! MY NEW FAVORITE RECORD!!

In some of the shots in this video, David resembles his half brother Shawn sooo much!! I've never seen that close a resemblance before!!

Perhaps. But I still think the message here is "Keith, She's Just Not That Into You."

Well yeah... being too needy, desperate and "star struck" is definitely a turn-off.

I suspect it was worse for David Cassidy off camera than how it was portrayed here as Keith Partridge. At least no teenage girl died here.

I wouldn't have given that one the time of day either.Remember, the thrill is in the chase, not the capture.

I never got the impression at all that one was arrogant so much as that she was playing hard to get.It even seemed as if she was curious about Keith when he finally decided against going on a date with her.

Of course,Shirley would be nice to Kathy. She did seem to be mature for her supposed tender age, however.

That is ironic,eh?You'd think their audiences would be all teenage girls & pre-teens.

And that's no stretch whatsoever.

My God,David Cassidy was 20 years old when this show premiered, although he was portraying roughly an 18 year old Keith.Anyway, most teenage girls are only in love with an image.

I'm not sure the one Keith was interested in here didn't like him at all,but she definitely had presented a challenge to him that the others certainly didn't,& he appreciated that.

I guess she wasn't ugly at all,but the point to me was that Keith didn't want anything to do with an obsessed female fan who was only in love with his image and not who he is as a person. He was impressed that the girl he was chasing didn't have a clue about him,or so she let on.
