If you wanna base it on their range and control, then yes they are technically better singers. But none of the other contestants had the same kind of soul in their voice, like Elvis Presley had, or maybe Freddie Mercury. Watching them sing live, they get so into the music that the listener does too, and Phillip has that same gift.
