"Netherworld"

More a state of being rather than a place

Hell is merely a stage for the soul

But all must walk the path

Uncertainty, the problem of pain

Experience second death

The soul that sins shall die, supposedly...

Consequence in the hereafter

Weeping, gnashing of teeth

This world revolves around conflich

And opposing forces

Unquenchable fire to this stop could be the last

The inner sanctum not easily grasped

Left in limbo, unholy infants are then cast away

Evil incarnate, govern the dead

Underdweller, monster among men

What will become of the condemned?

Separation point: Purgatory

The place of judgement for

The quick and the dead

The place where some will meet their end...

Left in limbo, unholy

Infants have been cast away

Evil incarnate, govern the dead

Underdweller, monster among men

What has become of the condemned?

The terrifyinf flipside of heavenly paradise

Imgarey of endless torment

A blazing, infernal netherworld

Moreover, aren't we in hell here and now?

It is always confusing to me why more than one band has the same name???? Isn't there royalty issues. This seems more thrash to me. The other Soltice is doom and a different kind of singer. This feels kind of Max Cavalera to me.

Mark Van Erp was formally of Cynic and Monstrosity...he played on Cynics Dwellers of the Underground and Reflections of a DYing world. I can't hear the bass on this one though.

Yes that furious riffing that you hear, that's Rob Barrett. And that voice, that's Rob Barrett too. No wonder he got hired to write and tour for Cannibal Corpse's AMAZING 1994 The Bleeding album.
