It has Random Explosions on this performance. I don't like The British Nazis

all the bombs and explosions made solid gold a hit show. too bad we don't have a show like this on tv anymore. i would just tune in to watch the bombs and explosions go off. also, little is known about all the solid gold dancers that were dismembered because of these random explosions.

WOW! I remember Solid Gold from the early 80s.... I was just a kid.... but compare music to today, and it is so obvious how music is really divided. Black and white singers as well as others, used to have music played on various stations back then..... didn't matter if it was Pop or R&B.... the music was just so hot back then.... that they had to play it. There is still good music being made today..... but it is so rare now that, sometimes it is not even worth mentioning. Thanks for this video

I don't quite know what it was, but there was something special about Solid Gold that had me glued to the tv screen as a kid. The big cheesy smoke filled explosions didn't hurt either. Show creators are trying hard to make shows today like they did back then but they are failing miserably. I can watch these old shows for hours

Great performance but the sisters are frightened by the scary BANG BANGS! Glen is chewing gum...so unprofessional.

This definitely brought back some memories, I remember watching this when it first came out in 1980, even though the focus was on the hits from 1979, Good Stuff.

Some artists sang live to pre-recorded music tracks, but most lipsynched on the show. Loved this show as a kid, though that puppet "Madame" creepy me out big time.

Did anyone ever really sing on this show?
