Trying out my new toneport with some recordings I cobbled together this morning.

Sorry for the horrible playing, I won't make excuses.

But this little thing is fantastic, obviously the tone isnt too good but it's just so convenient to write with and be able to record without having to mic your cab up and worry about the volume level.

Nice. I got a GX but I might get a UX2 so I can have more features, especially microphone inputs.

Key = Tonal center, I doubt he was talking about key signature.

I'm thinking of getting a toneport GX and using it with peavey mkiii. I use a VST program that plays live and can record at the same time. I can do all of this and have minimal noise? Main reason I'm getting a toneport is because using distortion effects and microphone-in port makes feedback and screeching.

Key signature has nothing to do with it. lol it will be the same intervals either way. But I do agree with you however about how generic music is today.

Can I see a video of your playing? Then I can compare the tone to that on my 'One with the flies solo' as this is an old video Because I checked your comments on other peoples and saw alot of whining, I want to see if you were just shooting your mouth off or not.

I love Soil work. Really like you playing. As we speak! i WONDER if you have power pack add on? Also my friends suggest me to buy a pod. "Theyre not that much more expensive, plus with PODs you can run them direct to amps as well as record. " Do they cover the same sounds and amps? Thank you.

If you use a program such as Audacity, go to edit > Preferences > and set your recording / output to Line 6 UX2, unless you have multiple speakers, then set the output to whatever you'd like.

Sorry about that. I was just trying to be honest without being rude. If those are your crappy riffs, your good ones probably sound a lot better. Besides, this is a really old video...

Eek Sonic Syndicate? :S I didn't even think that band used riffs, I thought they just used cheesy octave harmonies and open chugs synced with the bass drum....very original stuff lol :P

Your "crappy riffs" sound like something Sonic Syndicate would do (which isn't exactly an insult).
