Yes, I can't imagine that he was less than thrilled to hear a song he wrote almost 50 years ago sung so beautifully with her angelic voice. And the few words of Svenska only added to the beauty of the song. She is one the two or three best female vocalists I have ever seen.

Han gillade nog versionen de framförde./Probably he liked the version they played. But why did Sofia sing in swedish in one part? Paul Simon don´t understand Swedish, but he could hear how good Sofia always sings.

Yes the instrumental mix from all the double coursed strings was not optimal for her ethereal voice but was OK for live music. Can you imagine having to sing a cover of one of his songs in front of Paul Simon? I wish Sofia would tour in US, she is unknown here.

Äntligen kan man höra låten utan det hackiga ljud som först rådde på TV4s sändning av det hela. Inte helt klockrent ljud fortfarande och som du säger Kaare, mikrofonen som Sofia sjunger i är inte perfekt ljud i. Nästan så att ljudet från instrumentet borde tonats ned lite till förmån för sången. Men nu är det en väldigt duglig låttolkning i alla fall och det är inte Sofias fel att ljudet var kasst i utsändningen. Hon kan tolka telefonkatalogen så det låter som poesi.
