If you think about it, Tangled is kind of like what the Kingdom of the Sun would've been like in conjunction with The Emperor's New Groove. Both feature villains that would do anything to maintain youth and have an association with the sun. Corona is basically the kingdom of the sun, based on its flag and how the Queen's life was saved. That and that both movies tried being dark and funny at the same time. They're not identical, obviously, but it's a funny comparison to make. :P

I never noticed before a lot of Disney villains are evil because of vanity, the evil queen tried to kill Snow White because she was more beautiful, Yzma in the original draft tried to darken the world because the sun gave her wrinkles, Gaston wanted to marry Belle because she was the only girl as beautiful as him, and Mother Gothel kept Rapunzel captive because of her magical hair

*Did you know that the original draft of Disney's **The Emperor's New Groove** was meant to be a musical?*Yes, it was originally titled *Kingdom of the Sun* and had all the same characters and a slightly different plot, especially with more of Yzma's development.This is the planned villain song.On a side note, the titles (of the movie and the song) were chosen because Mesoamerican symbology pictured the emperor (Cuzco) as the sun. Keep that in mind as you listen to the words.
