I have to admit, considering that this song started out as a poem and was never released by Duran Duran as a single it truly is my favourite. To be covered so well by bands such as Sneaker Pimps and Deftones shows it for what it is - a fantastic song, pure and simple.

I kinda like how he sings just off-beat. With a song like this, it's easy to fall into the chanty style of the original and the Deftone's cover (as well as how that guy from Korn did it.) Granted, that rhythm is part of the car-theme of the song (gear shifting and all) but the different vocal style helps make it new.
