This one actually comes from a short acoustic tour they did in June-July of 1993 prior to the release of Siamese Dream. This song's from the Paris show of that tour. The Tower Records acoustic show, recorded a few weeks later, was a much more raucous affair, though still a fun bootleg.

my only beef with the nineties music is they (perhaps unintentionally) capitalized off a whole generation of teenagers who were already depressed from puberty and hormones and they wrote sad music that people would relate too. Just another marketing fad ! At least some bands like the pumpkins werent hacks! LOVE THEM!!

This version of Rocket have a special memories in my heart. Back when I was in high school I used to play along to this song using a cheap guitar and cassette player (that's right! a cassette player). As I slowly watch the quiet street until it's crowded again from 3am to 7 in the morning. It's such beautiful feeling and I miss those day so much
