Thats's because at small concerts there is less room and more echo, less back ground noise, and less people screaming and making noise (unless it's one of those stupid crowds that talk while the Smashing Pumpkins are playing. I want to slap them and say "Hey, this is Smashing Pumpkins, have some respect".).

u jokin?? imo gish is on par with melon collie, if not better. Zeitgeist is ok, but comes nowhere near any of their previous work.all their b-sides are way better too

i was never an SP fan, but even I have to admit Zeitgeist was a better album than people gave it credit for being. This is my favorite cut off the album.

macnatty, true words....this album is great....SP fans just seemed to assume that they'll would never get back together again, and no matter the great sound that they are producing, some will just insist that it isn't the same as previous albums...well, I should hope not!!! this is a new album after all, and they have grown so much as a band.
