In US whenever an article has appeared in a magazine newspaper internet re Brit'60's music it is consistently same generic Beatles Rolling Stones The Who DC5 Herman's Hermits. Luckily no matter what is written Canadian radio and video tv channels have a good 65% Brit content so new fans can enjoy Small Faces Christie The Move et al. I find these bands had their own distinct sounds less commericalised. And I getnto enjoy evryday on one of our local radio stations plus Vintage TV.

Oh yeah. Love the lead by Ronnie Lane. The Small Faces were a band with no weak links; all four of them were giants.

Oh thank you, this superb track was taken down here in Australia ages ago, delighted to see it back. Steve Marriott truly was a phenomenal vocalist and Ronnie's harmonies were beautiful. No trouble holding his own either as shown here, magic. I often read comments stating how underrated the Small Faces were yet they were HUGE (here in Oz) in their heyday. Extremely talented musicians, one and all. RIP Steve, Ronnie and Ian.

Kenny Jones says: "The Small Faces is the best band I was ever in - or were ever likely be in."   And he plays with the Who!      I'm VERY embarrassed that I knew nothing of this album till last month.  Its BRILLIANT - and almost ranks with the best Beatle albums of that era.   Magic stuff.  They deserve more recognition.  Its partly their fault for breaking up after this album.   Perhaps "Ogden" is a bit too English for some over here - with all the music hall tunes.  But, with English parents and a affection for the homeland,  I really like their stuff.  They also seem like one of the most fun bands I've ever seen.  Steve and Ronnie's songs mean alot to me now.   Sorry they had such sad endings.  But, in a way, they live on.  RIP Ian also.
