Yeah, he plays with a single bass pedal, and when you hit the single pedal twice that fast, you dont get as much power. in the studio, they can fix that, but you cant really do anything about that live.

Either he has a quieter beater head on his right foot or his double strokes are weak. I think it's his double strokes cause when gets to the slower part you can hear a strong bass, the thud thud.......thud thud
