I think it's sad how no one gets the point of the music video. Rock used to be thought of as terrible. It was thought of to involve the sex, the violence, the drugs, etc. The video shows a guy who was asked to write the lyrics get sucked up in that world. And at the end slash likes it because that's what rock still is to him even if he's changed. Is it over the top? Yes. Is that what rock used to be, or at least considered to be, yes. At least that's how it comes off to me.

ok I heard this song on KLOS tonight for the first time and was amazed. I have NEVER been impressed with Slash as a guitarist but this impressed me. the dickhead on KLOS said it was GNR so I go looking for it and can't find it then I find it's actually Slash? WTF? I honestly did not think he was this good. I also rather like the vocals from Myles Kennedy. I may actually have to listen to the rest of the album and who knows I might even go buy the damn cd. I don't give a shit about the video I mean come on half naked chick acting like a blood crazed vampire slut, satanic images? pffft like I give a fuck! been there done that all that shit has been done over and over since fucking Alice Cooper! grow the fuck up you whiny little bitches!
