@Theory94 I think slash just likes the simplest form of sound coming out. I really appreciate that though. Now days all these digital pedals and stuffs make things become ear candy but the real thang makes it nice. Also, I'm pretty sure he played this like thousands of times... I think he would hate to play this over and over with same sound. The clean sound actually works well in the song though. Gives the chill feeling to the song.

i agree with other people he does need a bit more distortion, its probably on cause his wah pedal has his distortion on it as well but he might not have it at full. cause some at some points hes trying to get those nice sustains and it isnt happening.
