Slash is an amazing player. Old school. He can pick any guitar and make it sound good. In essence he`s a blues man. He could be more technical if he wants but that`s enough to make the music he loves. When he shreds,he shreds with feel. Check out VR You got no right,Do it for the kids,Dirty little thing...or in Safari (instrumental track in Worl on Fire) you can appreciate he`s versatility and good taste.

Yep-If you ever get the chance,check out Ronnie's DVD called Far East Man from his tour in 2001.Probably hard to get at this point.Slash plays on several songs and Ronnie and Slash sound so natural together.There a great guitar team.Great band behind them to.

Slash is probably one of the last full fledge members of old school rock blues guitar, who has been accepted by Ronnie Wood, Keith Richards, Mick Taylor, B.B. King, Joe Parry, Angus Young, Peter Frampton, Toni Iomi, Brian May...etc. I don't understand why people get pissed off, he's a good player. He's not technically proficient but then again he never set out to be. He wanted to be old school from the beginning.
