Lyrics:

Woke Up This Morning All Alone

I Got A Ringin' In My Head

I Couldn't Take It Anymore, Today

She Left Me Here For Dead

Oh, I (x)

Oh

Oh

Oh

And It Don't Come As No Surprise

I Should Have Known If From The Start

The Lights Are Faded

And I Can't Deny This Place Ain't Got No Heart

Oh, You Can Hear My Tonight

You Can Hear Me Tonight

You'll Have To Carry...Me

Back From Cali

I'm Tired And Broken And I Lost My Way

You'll Have To Carry...Me

Back To Where I Belong

You'll Have To Carry...Me

Back From Cali

I Don't Want Money

I Don't Need The Fame

You'll Have To Carry...Me

Back To Where I Belong

I Got To Leave This Angel City

But I Can't Do It By Myself

So If You Please, Mama, Can You Save Me?

Before I Blow This Life To Hell

(Solo)

Oh, Love

Mama, Drag Me By The Feet

And Just Drag Me Home

You'll Have To Carry...Me

Back From Cali

I Don't Care If You Think I'm To Blame

You'll Have To Carry...Me

Back To Where I Belong

You'll Have To Carry...Me

Back From Cali

The Angel City Where The Devils Play

You'll Have To Carry...Me

Back To Where I Belong

Yeah, You Can Hear Me Tonight (4x)

I've Lost My Way

I'm So Alone

And All I Want To Do Is Come Home

The ONLY song with Myles singing I can stand. That high pitched nasally tone is only good for ONE SONG, because he sounds the same on EVERY song.

I swear, if they actually make the rumored Sandman Slim movie, this entire album should be the soundtrack. And this song should kick the whole thing off.

There are plenty of good new bands. The issue is that it is hard for them to get exposed because of the sorry ass music industtry. even with all the social media boom it is an uphill battle trying to get yourself notice! But, if you have the time, you can find plenty of those bands from your own favorite type of rock.

*Music: Slash feat. Myles Kennedy - **Back from Cali*The third of the California trilogy. And pretty rocking. This is the best use of Kennedy's voice with Slash.

In its defense though I think once Slash in involved it no longer falls into the "new music" category entirely.

What people don't seem to realize is that all the "better" music from old times is just the best of those decades. The 2000s will have, like the 50's, songs people look back on years later as timeless classics. Just because they're contemporary doesn't mean they universally blow.
