yeah thats what im saying... but that guy said less than jake came from slapstick. but less than jake started off as a punk band then added ska very shortly after... when pete left this band (when they broke up) less than jake didnt form. he was merely added onto less than jakes band list

I had never gotten the chance to see Slapstick. I think I was in about 6th grade when they broke up maybe? Anyways, I about shit myself when the line-up for Riot Fest was announced this year and I saw their name on it!! So not only am I going to see Refused this year, but a few months later I'll also be seeing Slapstick! Hooray for reunion shows!

I remember waiting for this show to start, they did two sets...emptied the Fireside out and then filled it again for the second show... I also remember offering to sell crack to the parents dropping their kids off on Fullerton in their BMWs that night.

There isn't a band that portrayed ska/punk better than Slapstick. Pure genius. And the bands that the members have been in are just as fantastic.

@MrNickGir so you experienced the 90s ska punk scene when you were 9? lol that sucks.

@NouReMalaka It's so funny for me to hear someone say this, since I was around back then and at this Slapstick show. I went to a lot of punk/ska shows in the '90s at places like the Fireside and Metro, and although I did have some fun, I always wished I had been born earlier so that I could have been a part of the '70s Punk Scene. Even now, I still think that the '70s Punk scene seems way cooler than the '90s scene I was a part of.

Kelly sounds like Vince Vaughn when he talks. Awesome. Search "fpb dik", for a punk rock cover of Folsom Prison Blues by Elvis Took Acid.

Mike Park answered the phone when I called Asian Man Records to order this DVD. I thought that was cool as hell!

Yeah! Not many replies in that forum it seems. I think Mike Park said something in one of his myspace newsletter blogs about getting rid of it or something. Sucks.
