I am a gulf war and iraq war combat veteran, airborne infantry. I was injured January 08, 2008 by a roadside bomb that left me deaf in both ears and damaged my spinal column. I was medically retired in 2009 due to that day on route tampa. I am still dealing with the VA juggernaut for care. Thanks Mr Cleaves, your song stopped me in my tracks when I first heard it.
