I had to check this out as I let the album go in 1977 or 1978. I purchased in the middle of high school, but by university my tastes had changed. Tonight is the first time I have heard these tracks in about 35 years. (Too loud and raunchy for a lover of (symphonic) progressive rock, but a whole lot better than I thought it was.)

@Bumptiously Thanks for your kind commentt, Slade's entire discography was remastered and expanded by Salvo around 2006-2009. They did a fantastic job.

I absolutely adore the fact that you have previewed the entire album, and done so for so many of their records. You, dear sir, are to be congratulated for your service to music curious humanity. I would have no other chance to hear what their scope was. This makes me want to go out and buy any re-issues that may exist out there.

@mortentre Carried on rocking until 1991. The guitarist and drummer went on to form Slade 2 which still goes on today with a new bassist and singer. Noddy (lead vocalist) now appears on radio and TV etc whilst bassist Jim Lea released his first solo album in 2007. Check out the wikipedia page biography which I wrote.

Quite simply, one of the best 'live' albums of ALL time... ANYONE / EVERYONE who's into Rock / Heavy Rock really should own this album and play it LOUD. They make even the cover songs their own; check out the ending on 'Born To Be Wild'... GREAT transition into some chaotic noise and back into the ending of the track etc. etc. etc! Keep on Rockin'!
