Can I just say this for all those who were not there when this album hit the charts, This really was an awesome album. and the band were the best thing since sliced bread, or the Beatles.

Quality, took British charts by storm in the 70s. Playing live Slade blew away all competition. The atmosphere, the way the band held the audience in the palms of their hands all added to the rip roaring tunes that made any of their concerts unforgettable.

I bought this album as a 14 year old in 1972. I played it to death. I'm pleased to say I still have it. Hearing Coz I Luv You on the radio this evening brought me here. Happy carefree days!

A cool story about this song. I saw Twisted Sister in the early 80's in Birmingham, UK and they finished with an unplanned encore of this song. I was the only one who knew the lyrics because of this album. Dee Snider saw me singing along and pointed me out to Mark Mendoza and they gave me a thumbs up. Slade were my first musical love and I still have the original vinyl of this album and I saw them in 1973. That night, I was introduced to live music. I would die happy if Jim and Noddy rejoined for one last tour.

I first saw them on Don Kirshner at 14 years old in 74. Been a fan since but hard to comb Tower Records import section to find their albums.

Saw them on Don Kirshner in 73 when I was 13 and had to scour the import sections of record stores to find it. I hated hippies so Slade was great to annoy them with.

Two buddy. It's sad what this world is coming to when a couple scratches, some awful sounding synths, cheesy lyrics, and cheesy costumes are considered music, and music like this is turned down. Being 15, I can't imagine what people were thinking when they made the hip hop shit that there is today.
