Wrong a bit there. Slavs were actually first tribes in Europe, even before Balts. Lived long before Western Germanic, Saxon and Latin civilizations. Slavs and Balts came from Southern Asia (Iran,India, Southeastern Asia). Slavs for example are most related to Indian brahmans, Vedic and Aryan tribe. But both Slavs and Balts used to most advanced civilizations in ancoent times. Because we had food equipment like spoons, we had hygene (banya, pirts etc.)

Balts in older times lived way past where Moscow is now but with time Slavs came from the East (a fact most must not know - asians from central Asia once where tall, blond, blue eyed) and pushed us back to the Baltic sea where only 3 Baltic ''tribes'' remained. After some time Prusians got asimilated/ died out and only Latvians and Lithuanians remain now.
