Because it's got a 2-step style drums (in this case theres a snare every second beat), breakbeats, and is around 140 bpm. If it was dubstep, it would have a kick every 1st beat and a snare every 3rd beat

i feel the meaning of dubstep changes the more it evolves. nowadays all the heavy rages are considered the top songs whereas before that wasnt necessarily true. dubstep to me is nothing more then listening to the music i love and connecting with people through it. isnt that the point of any musical genre?
