Just wanting to say that this edit/version of the song and the video are completely superior to the other version (the more 'official' version with the "monster doctors" and human guys in cages [visually] and the cheesy strings and fretless bass [musically]).... Completely superior and so much more visceral emotionally and just totally. It is impressive also that is so well-timed: that is, the lyrics and music and structural dynamics are really well emulated (or contoured) with the editing of the visual content and it's inherently powerful qualities, in degrees. In very direct words: this video is heartbreaking and considering the subject matter it really ought to be.

@therealquade Aspirin was already widely used 3 decades before WWII.... and honestly, animal testing is technically useless, humans react different. Contergan was considered safe after it was tested on animals as it didn't affect them, humans however...well, I guess you know what happened...
