I love how the music has such a full sound. It does not leave you feeling like it "almost" covers all the bases. I see a lot of bands screaming and cranking volume to try giving that complete sound and to stress a point. True masters can whisper and leave you floored by it.

What a voice! Danny is one of the best singers to ever grace music. He had/has immense range.

...(that was until they made this, or their final of course), but regardless, I think they're more comparable with original and seminal bands like Devo, XTC, Cardiacs, X (punk band), and artists way ahead of their time in general... Anyhow, this is an amazing song.

Ha ha, I know Oingo Boingo are often labelled as "new wave" (mainly by the mainstream media and those who are more familiar with their poppier sound), but their early ska/punk/experimental rock music (and the alternative rock, almost grunge sound from their last album) is so raw, original, fresh, rockin' and unlike anything those predictable cliche '80s new wave groups ever made. Sure, Oingo always had those new wave elements, plus they became poppy after Good For Your Soul...
