I've been a fan of Skillet for quite a long time now, and even though I'm atheist, I love their style. Even though I don't share the christian beliefs, I think the lyrics are pretty beautiful, and most of them could be interpreted in a not religious way. But one thing for sure, you just can't come to a christian rock band's video and talk trash about religion or God. Everybody has the right to believe or not in whatever they want. So just enjoy the good music, live and let live.

Y'know, the fact that Skillet are a christian band hasn't ever stopped me from feeling the sheer emotion in their music and adoring the message this band gives out. I'm a hardcore atheist, but I don't shove my lack of religion down other people's throats, no one should be doing that. This song is a masterpiece and it never fails to give me goosebumps and make the hairs on my arm stand up straight. Music like this, has the power to heal the world. Regardless of what you believe, that's what you should take from this. Instead of letting religion divide the world or rule it, we should set it aside and embrace our fellow humans with the love in our hearts, were we get that love is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. If you need God to guide you, then don't bash on those who don't and vise versa. The world has the potential to be a beautiful place.

If your a true fan of Skillet you can appreciate their music choice, Christian or not. I am upset to see so many people hating on a band because the music doesn't fit their expectations. Personally, I expect more songs like this and Feel Invincible in the future. Nut don't hate on someones work, it's rude and selfish.
