Hey, youcangedmylife, I just read your post and wanted to encourage you. God knows your heart and that you want to do His will :) This is a good thing. I want to encourage you to rely on God and the Holy spirit to become closer to Him and to obey His will. Don't rely on your own will power. Allow God to strengthen you and prepare you for the things He wants you to do. Try learning to rest in Him. It's not always easy (I'm still learning too) but this is where you get His peace and reassurance.

Ethan Lange, God gave you the power to change your life but it's up to you to use it. "God created man to be like him" means man has free will. That is why we're dominant over all animals, we can make decisions. God has a plan for all of us but it's up to us if you want to follow it. If God made you follow his plan that's not faith. God answers prayers in seemingly natural ways which is why there are non-believers in the world. Keep your faith in the Lord and seek him, everything will work out.

As public as your religion is, it's a private ordeal. I do not going around rubbing in people faces that I'm an atheist, and I would expect the same courtesy from others. All the same, I still love this song, and no one will tell me I can't. Just enjoy the music.
