I sure have seen what you mean. My brothers were stillborn, but by some miracle they came to life. That was my first witness to a miracle by His hand. Faith creates comfort. Humanity fears death, and know nothing of what happens after. It is better to find comfort than to question one's existence. Perhaps there is no god or afterlife. But perhaps there is. I'd rather believe in something than to see everything to be pointless. If everything one does was to be pointless for sure, then why would anyone even cling to life, rather than to toss it away?
