I saw Rubber Biscuit in the Railway Club at the time. The drummer had a fire bell with his kit and compared with John Jacobs

Before the Villains showed up in Vancouver in the early 80's there was a band on Vancouver Island from Parksville called The Rubber Biscuit Boogie Band that did a fantastic version of this song. Their drummer ended up moving on to Bryan Adams but they were a great bar band. The Beatty boys rock......

These guys blew my lights out when they played Halifax the first time. The speed of the band and the high energy sound went all night every night. Had to be one of the best live bands I have ever seen.

Okay....My take is, yes, they are good singers, yes they are attractive, but they don't write their own songs and all the songs sound kinda the same. They won't be remembered as legends of the musical world like Queen and The Beatles in 30 years. Just wondering, Is your username a reference to Deathnote?
