Crüe Fest was a summer 2008 tour by Mötley Crüe, which commenced on July 1, 2008 and concluded on August 31, 2008. It featured Mötley Crüe themselves, Papa Roach, Buckcherry, Trapt, and Sixx:A.M.. During the press conference announcing the tour, Nikki Sixx said that there were currently no definitive plans to tour Europe, however, it is likely that there will be some form of tour at a later date.[1] Crüe Fest is said to be "The Loudest Show on Earth". The tour earned around $40 million and was the most successful and most popular festival of the summer.

The tour was first formulated in January 2008 by Nikki Sixx. Shortly afterwards, the idea was established to do a tour with both bands Sixx is currently a member of (Mötley Crüe and Sixx:A.M.). The idea of Crüe Fest was then created, with Mötley Crüe's intention of bringing a new touring festival of 'bands that embody the spirit of rock and roll'[1] in the same vein as Ozzfest. The new official Mötley Crüe website ([1]) had promised a special announcement on April 15, 2008. Mötley Crüe hosted a press conference, where the intentions of the Crüe Fest tour were announced and the band premiered their "Saints of Los Angeles" video, as well as performing "Kickstart My Heart" and "Saints of Los Angeles".

It seems to me that James sounds a bit depeche-mode like on this one - am I the only one? Love the band btw:)

So obvious auto tune in guitar, jumping notes and stuff, omfg so painful listening to those digital sounds...Grow up and enjoy all the work these guys and their staff put together, they sound great from my headphones. And for someone claimed hearing the PA system, probably not the case in these type of concerts dude,I seriously doubt that what we hear has been collected through a camera mic!Cheers, keep optimistic and grateful!

Love when DJ threw his sunglasses like "get the fuck away from me sunglasses" lol. These guys are killer live, and no I don't hear auto tuning either. It's backing vocals, pre recorded and backings from Nikki.

Not autotune... just pre-recorded backing vocals. James is still singing live. Nikki... eh, not sure. However, there are backing vocals coming out of the PA. Kind of lame.

Ok, there are some guys here who really need to study a little more. There is NO autotune on MIchael's voice. What you guys are hearing are the backing vocals. If you focus only on the lead singer's voice, you can hear that it is totally clean, with no rough, "robot-like" transitions which are auto-tune's signature, all right. So stop saying shit like you're the ultimate knowledge-owners, ok? If you don't know what you are talking about, just shut it up. It's not 'cause you hear some Kesha or Lady Gaga's songs that you know what the fuck auto tune really is.
