It is with very fond memories that I recall the first recording of Connie doing Siúil a Rúin. It wa in a recording studio in North Kansas City, MO. Everyone had left the studio Connie and myself. We recorded it and mixed it that night. It was one of those rare moments that we all long for in the studio. Blessings to Connie and to the God who made such a wonderful voice.

Far too many people upset over a small mistake by a Saudi poster. Geographically Ireland IS part of the "British Isles". Don't mistake that term with the modern nation of "Great Britain." The term 'British' was originally used to describe the Celtic tribes who lived in these islands approx 2000 years ago. The Greeks called them the 'pretani',this became the Roman term 'Briton.' As the Anglo-Saxon invaders advanced the Britons were pushed to the outer edges of the islands, the north, the southwest, the west etc. The same tribal stock inhabited what is now Brittany in north-west France.
