This album, "We Are Family" was their BEST. Just about every song was a hit, thanks to Chic producers Nile Rogers and Bernard Edwards. I always wondered why they never produced another album for the sisters or did they? Sister Sledge releases after this album were pretty weak.

Can u hear that Nile Rogers guitar magic on this track...the same guitar magic was done the Duft Punk & Pharrell Williams "Get Lucky "Song....Some music need to be re-released esp this song.

I disagree, Sister Sledge had great stage presence and their longevity validates this. They were gorgeous, smart, humble and embraced strong family values. I would take them over the Ritchie Family any day. Just my opinion.

Love this! I think that sister sledge & the ritchie family Vera Dodi Jaqui version were the best of the era & they were each what the other lacked. Sister Sledge had great voices & better material but they didn't have the stage presence whereas The Ritchie family had all the stage presence,could sell the hell out of a song onstage & vocals, but they lacked the material
