You're right Steven Richards and Wilhelm Orton and everyone else. But I think if this kind of music grows too much, it will eventually turn into something else.What makes this special is that a small amount of people likes it but not because the TV or the people around us says so, but because we see why is special. So, as much as I would like my music to be appreciated, it should stay like it is. Special.PD: US is not America, America is the whole continent. I live in Costa Rica and believe me, it sounds kind of selfish to call US America.

Wilhelm Orton you are so correct. I live in the US and the pop culture here is abominable. The tasteless, talentless and over produced run amok here. Did you know that it took Beyonce 5 writers 9 producers and 3 lyricists to make a song containing 7 words? Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how pathetic that is.

Listening to this genre of epic tunes makes me hate the American pop-culture I'm drowning in. And it's not like I can just "not listen to it", because it's everywhere! You turn on the TV, first thing you hear is about fashion or Lady Gaga(or whichever untalented singer you wish to include)'s newest album, or celebrity breakups/divorces/babies. And very few of the people I know are even aware of this genre of music, and it's just a crying shame. Can't wait to leave the U.S. behind me once and for all.
