its the cure track ultimately. but at the time it was whatever it was. robert wrote this song maybe to be used for the banshees, but ended up a cure song. either way its roberts. robert an steve where living together apparently an the glove came out of this an steve also did the bass for lament, i think one roberts best songs. hope this clears it up

Who plays the violins? Is it the Venomettes? They also worked with Sex Gang Children, didn't they?

Absolutely mesmerizing choreography. (By the way, to the people who were saying this had nothing to do with Siouxsie and the Banshees, sorry, but what do you think "collaboration" means? Robert Smith did lead guitar and vocals. Siouxsie's band did backup. And the dancers from the Royal Ballet danced. Collaboration. Look it up.)

Yeah sorry uploader but the Banshees had nothing to do with this. This is still one of the best live performances I've ever seen ... I've watched this about 100 times and I think I've cried 80 times out of those 100 ...

Smith was approached by Nicholas Dixon, a young choreographer with The Royal Ballet, to score a choreographed adaptation of Les Enfants Terribles. To test the idea, Smith and Severin recorded a reworking of The Cure's "Siamese Twins", with Lol Tolhurst on drums, and Anne Stephenson and Virginia Hewes of The Venomettes on violins, which was performed on BBC2 music programme Riverside in March 1983, featuring two dancers choreographed by Dixon.

Not really, this is The Cure, with Steve Severin standing in on bass, playing a The Cure song, called Siamese Twins from the The Cure album pornography. You are so rude.
