Don't compare this to Deelite or Grace Jones. That's an insult to the Banshees. They're far far better.

While I do love oldschool techno and house like this (and the more pure-bred stuff of that time), I do prefer the album-version of this track.However, I think it's great when bands as great as SATB venture out into different styles that they aren't usually recognized with :)This version is by no means bad. It's probably just that some of us are colored by knowing their older/other stuff and thus suffers a bit of a culture-shock when listening to this version for the first time :)

While by no means bad, I must admit, this sounds too housey for their own sake... Love their entire catalogue, but "Superstition" for me remains their weakest point or at its best, a brave experiment gone a bit astray.Sounds more like Coldcut (or Deee-Lite as someone here suggests) featuring Siouxsie, which again isn't at all a bad thing - and obviously Siouxsie couldn't resist all the rave hysteria of the time.However, when placed within a S&tB context, musically it sounds far too polished and pretentious. By comparison, I definitely prefer the raw version of the track.
