The song's lyrics were inspired by the introduction of the original MediEvil. The ballad of Fortesque, how he charged into the accursed horde and slew the demons like wheat before the sharpened scythe. Also, elements from different levels are mixed into the lyrics, such as Zarok's castle being his "sacred" lair. Since it's a song to honor something, they can play it anyway they want.
