Sinead O'Connor is by far one of the most beautiful, talented and unpretentious artists I've had the pleasure of watching through the years. In a time when perhaps people didn't "get her", I was paying attention. When I first saw her hit video "Nothing Compares..." I was deeply moved. Not only is she visually beautiful to look at but the lyrics, music and theme of the video just resonated with such emotion that it literally brought to tears. Nobody could have sang that song but her...she owned it! Quite frankly, she is more popular now to me than ever. Thank you Sinead may you continue to grow in the light and remain a truly class act.

When the children teased me for my English accent I ran to my Gran and she held me and said "what has happened" her voice broke and she was hurting more than I ever could. It was the first time that I felt loved and that I was worth caring about. She said days later that she was so hurt that somebody could do that to me and I almost couldn't believe it and can now see it was the truth. When Sinead sings "sweet bird although you do not see me I saw you" It means she was always there. Thank you X
