I liked it for listening after work on the ride home, very relaxing, I play Jethro tull also to relax by, it's the flute that does it.

Paul Simon's music was in my life since I was a child. Helped me through some tough times that no child should endure but many sadly do. I remember being seven and hearing this song and just getting a fire in me and feeling like there was hope. Growing up I explored his music more and his solo work. He really is one of the best in history. Has it all. Singing, playing, writing.

4:20….that deep and guttural resonance. Incredible.

Not much of a tune though - just seems like a meandering bunch of melody, like Bridge over Troubled Water.

This was when an artist did their own work. Not some company, with a computer screen. What a time it was, in which to live!

I felt I was the Boxer leaving Chicago, 1970, arriving in NYC with a dog, a best friend, a cat in a box and nowhere to live but the sidewalks of the Village until I got my first paycheck which took 2 weeks..."what a time it was, a time of innocence. a time of confidences" it always seemed they sung the stories of my life, even after they went their separate ways.

this song evokes all my senses, I can feel the beat in my earphones snd the lyrics in my heart. that means I love this song. I was born in 85. different music there eh, but I love music even going back as far as the 1930's or 20's even. love the art of music.
