The song is about being cheated on and becoming broken. The girl has constantly lied to him and fucked with his emotions. The video represents the board game "clue" as a metaphor. As you can see, there are clues laying around left by the girl and he is the victim. He should have seen the signs of her lies. She cheated on him and used him, and most likely spent time with other guys while they were together but he was weak.. so he stayed. Once again, he should have seen the signs earlier. It put him in a downwards spiral which cause him more and more pain. He lies there in pain and anger every night to what she did to him dreaming of murdering her, but she lies in bed content. She smiles in her sleep..This song is so painful yet so good. I can feel the pain he went through when he screams his lungs out. I can empathize for everyone who has went through this tough time. Build yourself and actively push yourself out of the negative spiral. Fucking love Silverstein. They were so good live. I want to see them again.
